We are excited to share insights from our recent symposium “Addressing Water Scarcity in the Climate-Water-Agriculture Nexus”, a pivotal event dedicated to “Advancing Sustainable Groundwater Management in Water-Scarce Regions”. The symposium was held on February 18th and 19th, 2024, at Al Wadi Hotel in Doha, Qatar.
This symposium included a series of insightful talks and discussions on challenges and global perspectives, groundwater dynamics assessment and monitoring techniques, as well as exploring effective remedies and solutions for water scarcity relevant to both Qatar and Italy. The event featured expert researchers from the National Research Council of Italy, Qatar University, and Hamad Bin Khalifa University, alongside diverse stakeholders and partners.
